Kevin had a blast standing in the rain helping. He even looks very handsome on the right in that beautiful yellow parka. :) Thanks to all who were involved.

What a blessing it was to serve as a greeter for the morning with our friends. It was so much fun assisting members, and visitors. I met families visiting from Texas, Tenn. and other states. I love the ability with team up to volunteer as a class in a small way without the regular commitment. If each class picks a week each 6 months or quarter we could all enjoy our classes and serve in the church at the same time. What a great concept. What date will your class serve? I look forward to serving with you in the future. Like Chris said all you need is a few hours and a smile, it doesn't get much easier.

Thanks Jay for presenting this opportunity/challenge to serve. I was able to join a couple of friends in opening the doors and welcoming families into the nursery area. There were several looks of relief as moms (and dads) loaded down with carseats, diaper bags and small children had one less challenge trying to get into church. This is such an easy way to serve those who attend our wonderful church. I encourage other ABCs to pick a Sunday morning! All you need is a few hours and a smile.
